Mission, Vision & Strategic Objectives
Grounded in Catholic social teachings and founded in 2001 at Janja Mother House, MPC Sisters strives for spiritual, social, and economic peace across Rwanda.
Our Mission
To live out and promote human and cultural values of peace, restoring hope, dignity, and social cohesion to vulnerable populations, children with disabilities, and families across Ruhengeri, Byumba, Nyundo, Butare, and Cyangugu dioceses.
Our Vision
Mediation for peace aimed at overcoming spiritual, social, and economic barriers. We envision inclusive communities where out-of-school and disabled children enjoy equal access to quality education, healthcare, and parental support.
1. Integral Human Development
Education in Christian and traditional Rwandan values, empowering youth and families spiritually and economically.
2. Peace Mediation Workshops
Organizing community dialogue, mediation training, and reconciliation sessions across 10 diocesan communities.
3. Inclusive Education (LIFT)
Reintegrating out-of-school and disabled children via specialized school infrastructure at Janja & Muramba.

LIFT Project (Inclusive Education)
Learning & Inclusion for Transformation: Identifying and reintegrating out-of-school children and children with disabilities into mainstream and specialized schools.
School Portals & Management
Managing AMIS–APAX Janja and APAX–Muramba schools with modern digital student portals, report cards, and tuition tracking.
Health & Therapy Programs
Providing music therapy, physiological support, and medical assistance for children with special needs across district communities.
Parent Assistance & Empowerment
Equipping parents with micro-grants, vocational skills, and home support strategies to care for children with disabilities.
Peace Mediation & Dialogue
Community reconciliation workshops, spiritual mediation, and peace education grounded in Gospel values.
Child Sponsorship (Parrainage)
Connecting international and local benefactors directly with vulnerable students to secure their school fees and nutritional needs.
Leadership & Diocesan Communities
Organized under Canon Law as a Public-Interest Catholic Association across Rwanda.

Approved by Monseigneur Alexis Habiyambere (Ruhengeri Diocese) in 2001, MPC has grown from Janja Mother House into 10 active communities serving 5 Catholic Dioceses in Rwanda with over two decades of dedicated service to peace and education.
